Best Drool-Worthy Thespian

Brian Porter

Staff Pick

Cabaret is about a community and its hip, happening Kit Kat Club during the rise of the Nazi Party in Germany. At the center of 2010's Charleston Stage production, actor Brian Porter provided a hot, sexually charged performance as the Emcee. This role can get creepy real fast in the wrong hands, but Porter seduced the audience with every scene. So it was no surprise when he was back on stage last summer, leading What If? Production's Hedwig and the Angry Inch. Porter turned on the heat again. Here's hoping that 2011 provides more opportunities to objectify this talent.
