Best Downtown Music Venue That Serves a Killer Muffuleta

The Royal American

Staff Pick

When the Royal American first opened more than a year ago, we never would have predicted that it would become one of the Holy City’s go-to spots for live music. After all, they were under the Revolutionary Eating Ventures umbrella, and REV’s speciality is food, not rock ‘n’ roll. But for whatever reason, the Royal American has transformed itself into a dandy music spot. Over the past year, they’ve featured up-and-coming acts like Alex Vans, McKenzie Eddy, Joe Buck, the Barb Wire Dolls, and the Black Cadillacs. We can’t wait to see who our Morrison Avenue neighbors bring in this year. And in case you didn’t know, they also serve a killer muffuletta.
