Best Chicken Leg

The Lot

Staff Pick

You wouldn’t think it possible to make a humble chicken leg so impressively delicious, but Chef Alex Lira of the Lot pulls it off. It’s a simple leg-thigh quarter that’s braised then spiced and finished on the grill, then served with a drizzle of the braising jus. Tender, dark, and richly flavored — that’s a lot of good eating in a small package.
