Best Chance Encounter with Bill Murray at an Art Party

Society 1858 Launch Party, May 21, 2010

Staff Pick

In May, local art enthusiasts James and Esther Ferguson generously shared a bulk of their impressive art collection at the Gibbes Museum of Art. The familiar walls were filled with works by modern masters like Pablo Picasso, Willem de Kooning, Robert Rauschenberg, and Christo. At the exhibit's opening reception, the Fergusons told fascinating stories about several of their acquisitions. We even saw Bill Murray at the Society 1858 party launching the exhibition.
