We know what you're thinking, but don't even go there. Just stop. We won't accept any excuses of "I won't spend $6 on a bar of chocolate." Because when it comes to Sweeteeth, they're not valid. At all. Each glorious bar from the North Charleston-based Eric "Johnny" Battles initially seems like a steep investment, until you take your first bite. The treats, like the cleverly named A'Chocolypse (ginger and popping sugar) and Cinnapsis (apple and candied pecans on milk chocolate), aren't the kind of thing you scarf down in one sitting like a typical Hershey's. They're so indulgent that even the proudest chocoholic has to take their sweet time. The especially decadent Sea is for Caramel could easily last you a week, but we're just dying to get my hands on their newest flavor: Call of the Wild, made with port-wine caramel. You can find them at sweeteethchocolate.com.
