When new James Island Mayor Bill Woolsey returned from vacation, he discovered that his house had been broken into and a television and two laptops were missing. Woolsey was not alone. The residents of James Island have been hit by a series of break-ins over the past year. But there was a big difference between Woolsey and the all the other folks on James Island — Woolsey is the newly elected mayor. One thing seems to be clear: They probably voted for Mary Clark.
