Oak Steakhouse is hosting a complimentary wine tasting on Thursday featuring Básico Wines, the Southeast’s newest Spanish-inspired wine.
Selections at the tasting will include Básico’s Blanco and Rojo wine with hors d’oeuvres by Chef Brett Mckee.
Básico’s Rojo is made with Spanish Tempranillo and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes and has the flavors of red plums and berries. Blanco is created using Sauvignon Blanc grapes with hints of lemon, lime, and other fresh citrus flavors.
Básico Wines launched out of Atlanta this fall, and the concept is to provide affordable yet high-end wine, inspired by the carefree Spanish lifestyle. “We believe that Básico is an exceptional buy for a wine of this origin and quality, “ says V.P. Brad Norton, “and it is our hope that wine-drinkers of all ages will be able to enjoy the wine with friends and family whenever, wherever, just as the Spanish do.” Básico Wines is anticipating the introduction of their Rosé wine this spring and looks to expand later in the year.
