Upper King gallery Aster Hall is hosting a fundraiser for the Center for Photography on Friday, Nov. 13. “The Project” is a collaborative, large-scale mural event featuring live work from local graffiti artist Ishmael and nationally-recognized graffiti artist Des. The show also features new work from other Aster Hall artists like Benjamin Hollingsworth, Timothy Pakron, and Alex Leopold. Bands The Healing and Malignant Productions are providing the music, while Social, Virginia’s on King, and J. Paul’z are bringing the cocktails and hors d’oeuvres. Tickets are $8.
