Earlier this year, Eye Level Art hosted a successful Cuban-themed shindig as a benefit for Operation Home. Now they’re tackling a different part of Latin America with their Mexican fiesta. They’ll get some help from Taco Boy, whose truck will be on hand for lunch (12-3 p.m.) and dinner (7-11 p.m.). The 11-hour fiesta features live music from a mariachi band, games, piñatas with special prizes, wading pools, and more. Dogs and children are welcome during the day, and expect a dance party to break out before the night is up, fueled by beer, wine, sangria, and, of course, margaritas. A portion of the bar proceeds benefit Carolina Studios, an organization that gives at-risk youth the chance to get involved in music production and develop computer skills. It’s like you’re getting a chance to re-experience this year’s Cinco De Mayo that you can’t remember.
