Remind yourself of what it feels like to be a Southerner and head over to Home Team BBQ in West Ashley for a celebration of hot crawfish, rock, and blues. The Louisiana crawfish season has hit its peak, and the good folks at Home Team are ready to boil them up and serve them to you. Better yet, with a steaming crawfish plate in hand, you can lounge out at the restaurant’s outdoor acoustic stage and enjoy great music all day long. The music kicks off at 4 p.m. with popular Charleston band Mac Leaphart and His Ragged Co., whose sound is a mixture of John Prine and Kris Kristofferson. At 6 p.m., Junkyard Angel, who hails from Savannah, hits the stage to remind you what good old-school country-rock used to be. Finally, headliners Ponderosa from Athens, Ga., take the stage at 8 p.m. to play two sets. The psychedelic rockers sound like mid-’90s Black Crowes — and that ain’t a bad thing. Nothing is better than getting a great deal at a low price, so there’s no reason you shouldn’t be there on Sunday.
