ABC weatherman Neville Miller leaving for Missouri

Weekend meteorologist heading west this week

After three years working in Charleston, ABC News 4 meteorologist Neville Miller is packing his bags for a job at a news station in Columbia, Mo. He gave his final weather forecast for the station on Sunday.

"It's sad that that was coming to an end, but it's also exciting because it's a step toward the next step in my life and getting closer back to family," Miller says. "I definitely felt a little tear drop looking over at my co-anchors."

Originally from St. Louis, Miller took a job in Charleston as a weekend meteorologist and reporter in July 2008. He had run the mile and half-mile on the University of Missouri-Columbia track team, and he enjoyed running the Cooper River Bridge Run and Turkey Day Run in Charleston.

Miller says he will miss the food and the historical buildings of Charleston, and he will have to adjust to running on serious hills in Columbia, Mo. The one thing he won't miss about the Holy City?

"Probably just the palmetto bugs, man. That's probably the one thing that just irks me out."
