A roster of Kind Beers served at Fuel

Kindly beer from the upstate heads to town

Get happy, beer enthusiasts: some kindly beer is heading to town.

Palmetto Distributors and Fuel (211 Rutledge Ave.) will host a friendly beer event during happy hour today (Wed. June 2) in their honor from 5:30-7:30 p.m. The Kind Beers Launch Party celebrates the official Lowcountry release of several ales produced by the Thomas Creek Brewing Co. in Greenville — including the hoppy, American-style Kind Pale Ale (7.3 percent a.b.v.). Their roster includes several Belgian and English styles of ales as well.

Kind Beers have already made a splash in the Charlotte, Asheville, and Raleigh-Durham markets. They hit the store shelves and restaurants in Charleston this summer. The company has worked with the Boulder, Col.-based Renewable Choice group on utilizing renewable energy and carbon reduction projects to reduce the environmental impact of their activities.

Fuel will provided Caribbean and Cuban styled appetizers during the launch party. Visit fuelcharleston.com and kindbeers.com for more.
