Threshold Repertory Theatre is back with a new production, an interpretation of William Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream, but they’re giving it a slight twist. During casting, Threshold opened their doors to anyone interested in theater, regardless of experience, and decided to use this production as a community workshop. “It’s been a success thus far,” says Threshold’s marketing, social media, and grants coordinator Peter Galle. “Everyone is really having a lot of fun.” With a rowdy cast nearing 30, the motivations for this community workshop evolved from Threshold’s core mission to provide the gift of theater to everyone. Volunteers have had the opportunity to work alongside director Mike Kordek and co-director Vicky Norris as Threshold brings this Shakespeare classic to life.
