ObamaCare cuts DSH money for rural hospitals and replaces the DSH money by money from Expanded Medicaid.

The DSH cuts to hospitals will happen no matter what we do.

If SC refuses to accept Expanded Medicaid, our hospitals will lose a lot of money -- so much money that some hospitals will close and others will cover the loss by charging more to people with insurance or receiving more tax money.

To refuse Expanded Medicaid will impact every citizen of SC. Some of us will lose access to a hospital we need; others will pay more for insurance and/or taxes.
