      <![CDATA[As a longtime resident of Elliotborough, I know some things to be true:  as more college students have moved into our neighborhood over the years the trash, noise, and general disrespect has also increased. I know as soon as most of these students are gone for the summer, winter break etc. this neighborhood is suddenly much more livable.

      <![CDATA[I have been intimately involved with Charleston Waterkeeper as a volunteer for over 3 years now. I have worked in the office, at events, on the water, in the classroom, and in the community - so it is with continued pride and well-versed knowledge of the organization's mission and character that I remain in support of Charleston Waterkeeper, Cyrus Buffum, the CWK staff, board of directors, and our waterways.<br>
I will not pretend to know the details of their records but I will tell you that I have seen their dedication to the mission, I have watched my donations both of time and money benefit education, community, and scientific programs to help improve the health of our waterways.
