And if you want to go posting articles looking at cause and effect, then remember that the two greatest recessions/depressions in America came at the time of the highest income inequality.

Top heavy systems are unsustainable, something all the fake-libertarians completely ignore when they are talking about smashing the state in favor of business.

They aren't libertarians, they're apologists for the ruling elite - arguing in favor of the very system that truly keeps them enslaved.

Wages are not currently commensurate with productivity, which is why the economy sucks.

Higher wages at the top, and greater concentration of ownership are both unsustainable and anti-libertarian.

No one is stopping anyone from founding a chain to compete with Wal Mart where staff are paid more and have better benefits and where the goods sold are procured at higher costs.

I think what is bothersome to me is the tiresome activity of posting "facts" from "studies" when the sources are inherently biased and they are accepted solely because they conform to a preconceived notion of reality. Now, simply put, that's what most of us do but the difference for some of us is that we recognize this for what it is and instead choose to base our arguments along more general philosophical lines.

I'm linking an opinion piece from a conservative source that happens to agree with a supposedly "liberal" opinion on wages (not that you would ever hear that from our "socialist" President, because politics simply ignores the working class and poor).

Usually, even lower pay than Walmart, usually no benefits worth mentioning, and the only chance for advancement is if you happen to be mom and pop junior.
This I know from my previous experiences working for mom and pop to put myself through college.
Hence my statement that it's mom and pop who are behind this anti-Walmart stuff.
