Further more, due to the immoral nature of politics in general, no "good Christian" leader should lower themselves to the level of playing that game.

To accept any favor from the rulers of "this city" is for the church to inevitably compromise its absolute commitment to the ruler of and its citizenship in "that city which is to come."

But notice I said "tax their profits". If they have profits than they can't be nonprofit now can they?

You say that there is nothing in the constitution that says there is no separation of Church and State in the Constitution which is true if you have no ability to read into symbolism and have an absolute lack of knowledge of our founding fathers. It says in the first amendment "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof ...."

If there is a conflict between free speech and taxation, the problem is not with free speech. The problem is with our tax laws.

So, clergy, to put it simply: no one is saying that you cannot lay claim to one political candidate or party, however, you cannot use your pulpit to do this and retain tax-exempt status. Those are the rules under which tax exemptions are granted.
