      <![CDATA[I don't believe you intended to malign Erin's piece anymore than I believe she meant to malign your work.<br>
<br>
If she had written her entire piece about the vegetarian aspect of going green and then made the joke about leaving the pamphlet at Ted's, then that could easily be seen as dismissive. Of course, it could also be seen as a masterwork of culture jamming.

      <![CDATA[Hi Mat, I  agree with you 100% that factory farming is a much great problem than omnivorism. I think that the problem (aka the Great Vegan Uproar) might have something to do with the strange segue from "we got a pamphlet at The Green Fair that described the nasty reality of slaughterhouses" to "ha ha, let's leave this as a joke at Ted's."  We worked hard on Saturday and Erin's write up downplayed what we were trying to accomplish.

As for the Great Vegan Uproar, I hardly think Ted's uses factory farmed pork (although I could be wrong - someone please step in and correct me).<br>
