      <![CDATA[I was raised by Depression-era parents who wanted me to have what was impossible for them to have growing up as did most of my generation. What they did was from a sense that "I want my kids to have what I couldn't" Unfortunately, we misunderstood and corrupted that into "my kids should have everything they want."
