      <![CDATA[again liberalism has caused many of the problems within our society, this one is no different. it has to do with the degeneration of the family unit, single women trying to raise children without a husband or father, and some having children and not wanting a husband or father around.

      <![CDATA[I don’t know where the City Paper gets their facts, but as a teacher in a CIS school, I know that their program is not abstinence only. They teach reproductive health and help sexually active students connect to much needed services.

      <![CDATA[It would also be wise to remember that in years gone by, 16/17/18 year olds would be getting married and having babies. Now with longer lifespans, adolescence lasts longer but the hormones are still there.

      <![CDATA[Abstinence only education is the best way to increase sales of formula and diapers, so obviously that's the way to go.<br>

      <![CDATA[Abstinence-only might make a dent in the number of teen pregnancies, I sure hope it does. But the fact that 51% of high schoolers are having sex tells me that CIS needs to invest some of that $ into education on contraceptives also.
