I absolutely love Puree and recommend this restaurant to all of my friends, (meat eaters, vegans, vegetarians... whatever the choice). The food is fresh, organic, healthy and delicious which is almost impossible to find in a restaurant setting.

I am not vegan or vegetarian and I love the food at purée! It's unfortunate that the writer of this article had such strong preconceived notions about a baby friendly environment. Living near Puree I frequent the cafe often, and I can honestly say it has never been the chuckie cheese horror of an environment described above.

This sounds like the most disgusting restaurant on Mount Pleasant for sure, maybe even the tri-county area.

I would say this restaurant caters only to a super super small niche in the area, I imagine they won't make it past 6 months.

Kudos to the writer though, its a good write up and it was honest.

Sounds like the writer has a need for stronger prescriptions than healthy food can cure in one sitting - "nightmare scenario","unsettling", "personal hell", "hell demons"...wow, what a strange way to summarize a cafe dedicated to the health of our community. Puree is dedicated to organic and local agriculture and there is no other full-menu restaurants in SC that source ingredients with such dedication.
