Having unapologetically dismissed that portion of his remarks, however, I do admit to some amazement at the ugly, mean-spirited way in which the GOP/Tea Party/Christian Right has demonized Sandra Fluke---Connelly, of course, being part of that effort.

Sandra Fluke is the kind of daughter any father would be proud to have.

Never mind the first part of that quote, look at the second: "sort of like the prom or a first car." Apparently Mr. Connelly believes that every teenage girl not only goes to the prom but also gets a car (given to her by her parents, I assume)...or so you might think.
