F Husk.....Hall's is as annoying a place as you can get...Steaks are no better than Oak....Hyman's is the tourist trap of the town...good for them...Butcher and Bee won't be in another year....That is some weak product for the cash...SMD....Jestine's is a Diner...That is it...All of the restaurants are good, but for how long...You know a retired Restaurant owner that is living good?

<![CDATA[Re: The Wreck, find me another place in town that does casual seafood that is actually locally sourced (in The Wreck's case, shrimp from Wando Seafood next door) and is paired with sides that speak to the Lowcountry's culinary traditions (hominy square, red rice, etc.), and where the owner still goes out of his way to thank you for your patronage. Unassuming, warm, and unapologetically even when they could go the "imported" route like most other coastal fish shacks.

<![CDATA[Love this article, because it encapsulates the love/hate extremism of our local food scene. Some don't like the massive food fights we have, but I feel it is a statement on how passionate we are about our food.
