      <![CDATA[This is a complete failure of leadership in Charleston County. Is it any surprise that a "parkway" with a speed limit lower than both Ashley River Rd and River Rd on Johns Island will only save 2 minutes of commute time to downtown Charleston?

      <![CDATA[That's right , the idiots voted down I-526, mostly due to the Coastal Conservation League , which is the group to blame the most, they stopped I-526 and I wish they would leave Charleston! They are mindless and live in the dark ages!

      <![CDATA[Johns Island killed the project so let them live with the current road system! They have their "island living" so to hell with everyone else!.<br>
<br>
As far as rail systems go we need not waste money on that as well.
