Last Saturday night I was with a friend and wanted to go to the Long Point Grill. It was a significant birthday for him and I wanted some place nice but not too stuffy.

Recently my brother and his girlfriend wanted to go to Charleston with me and my girlfriend for a visit. They are flight nurses in the US Air Force who fly in and out of war zones everyday rescuing wounded soldiers and just wanted to go to Charleston for a good meal while they were home on leave.

Everybody has a day now and then when things just don't go as planned (comment re: a neg posted comment) I frequent LPG and find that if it isn't exactly right, they'll make it right! (but you have to let them know)
The food is always good, the staff great and though a little loud when it gets busy still one of my favorites.

My sister was in hospice care nearby & this restaurant was recommended to my two nieces & me. Just got vegetables myself, seasoned perfectly, great tasting. Tried some of my nieces tomato pie & crab cakes, both superb.
