Dear Sad,
I don't know what your experience is in general or what it was the other night but I can say that I've been eating out in this town for 20 years and in the last 4 years, I've eaten at FIG more times than I've eaten everywhere else combined. That being said, I have slowly come to understand what the Chef is trying to express through his food.

What the heck is happening at FIG these days? This used to be my favorite restaurant downtown and one of the only ones I'd recommend to out-of-towners or friends looking for an exceptional experience.
