Nobody minds performers that are following the rules. There is a huge difference in singing and shouting and playing a guitar vs. trying to publicly beat it to death. These guys wreck it for everybody. People seem to be under the impression that these folks are getting picked on. Imagine being a few feet away from someone shouting for 2 hours. How is that welcoming to anyone? If these few would follow the noise ordinance and stop screaming for hours the rest of us wouldn't get run off. Nobody cared until recently because these clowns weren't standing around yelling so loud that they can be heard 2 blocks away on a regular basis. It is funny that the person featured in this article is one of the key folks responsible for the recent enforcement.
