I've posted this before and I'll probably post it again later, but the test made was the worst case, installing the bike lane that nobody uses. It still only had a 1 minute adverse effect on the transit time over the bridge, imagine if everyone within biking distance of the bridge took a bike instead of driving.
Can you imagine Asshole's reaction to an all-AA jury? (Complying with the movement to refer to all mass shooters as Some Asshole, or just Asshole)
The test was a worst-case scenario in that there were no bikes replacing car trips in the closed lane, which would have reduced car traffic some. Previous traffic studies in other cities have shown that the difference between gridlock and free-flowing traffic is as little as a 3% increase, or a 2.9% decrease. So if only 1 out of 30 drivers lives close enough to ride a bike that would have a major effect on congestion. Of course a similar effect would be that one in thirty carpooling, but this is 'Murica and cars 'r' Freedumb!! and car-pooling is socialist or something.
no need to pass things from cars, we have electronic tolls here in TX that track your license plate. Hellooooo Big Brother!
You know I keep hearing about all these men claiming to be women to get into womens restrooms and rape women there, in abstract, but nobody gives a concrete example of this happening IRL. Until someone can post a link to a recent case where a man dressed as a woman to get into a restroom and at least attempt a rape I'm gonna call this exactly what it is: fantabulous BS. And there's nothing about the bills either passed or under consideration that will prevent a man from dressing as a woman to get into the restroom and grab a woman to rape them. Unless you want to start posting LEO to check birth certificates before allowing someone to enter the potty.
