My wife and I had one of the best meals we've ever had here last weekend. I had the brick chicken which would have filled both of us - half of a chicken and a giant plate filled with beets, white sweet potatoes, carrots, and other seasonal veggies. The chicken skin was peppery and crispy, but the meat was almost melt in your mouth juicy. It was a nice dining room with very professional service - hearing the sound check over at the Pour House was kind of fun...put some James Island character into it.

ad hominem isn't the same thing as an insult. Ad hominem is the fallacious attempt to use an insult as part of a logical argument (e.g. his plan for medicare is terrible because he is a liar). Good old fashioned insults like the author used above aren't supporting any kind of logical argument, therefore no ad hominem here.
Don't churches, apostles, and messiahs ask people for money? What's the problem?
