Re: “Vanities

Saw it opening night - great story - funny moments, well acted - oh, and there's a bar in the lobby too!

Wow, Mexican wrestling masks...doesn't Cha-Cha's already have that theme covered?

Re: “Lobster Roll Call: The best decapod deals in town

Hey CIACulinaryKid I grew up in CT - I do not play around when it comes to a Lobster Roll!! Bring a bottle of bourbon with you!

Re: “Lobster Roll Call: The best decapod deals in town

What sucks is that all of these Lobster Rolls are the cold lobster salad type (dab of mayo, maybe some celery). No one down here does a Hot Connecticut/Rhode Island Style Lobster Roll - toasted split top bun, hot lobster meat, side of melted butter. Now THAT's truly a decadent, awesome treat. (So I just make them at home)

Re: “East Bay Street raw bar, seafood market 167 Raw to open by July 5

Is this related to the 167 Raw on Nantucket Island?
Being raised in New England - I will be sorely disappointed if they do not offer a lobster roll 'fisherman style' (toasted split top roll filled with chunks of warm lobster meat dipped in butter) and steamer clams (aka piss-clams). If they don;t they're just like every other 'raw' bar in the area - snore.
