Re: “Groundhog Day Concert

Great show and the sound was so much better than the REK show in October. The performances were magnificent, even if the songs were at times nontraditional.

Re: “Spero may be the best under-the-radar restaurant in town

Shellfish are back on the menu. The clams are out of this world. Always have a good meal here. I have celiac disease and there are tons of available options on the menu.

Yes, from all accounts from my family, the sourdough pretzel bread is awesome.

Re: “Charleston Music Hall

I agree with Mr Silver, this venue has sounded awesome for any show I've attended until this past October REK show. It was terrible. It was all bass and no vocals and we were in a primo front center balcony spot. I'm going to another show soon and hope the sound's not that bad.

"In any art form or field, and perhaps ESPECIALLY in architecture, it makes no sense to rule out or shun any approach."

Yet that's exactly what the author does. The hubris and zealotry in this opinion piece has had me equally riled and laughing the last day. It's the stuff usually reserved for politicians. That's just my opinion, though, I don't pretend to speak for my generation.
