Re: “DeSano Pizza Bakery

When I think Neapolitan pizza, a thin crispy crust comes to mind but this is not what I got here. The service was good and the pizzas came quick, but our pizza crust was barely cooked--almost soggy. Not impressed at all! Will not being going back.

Re: “¡Ask a Mexican! has a taco lesson for us all

@Nick A. Zukin- boy, you're really smart. You can add and subtract! I'm not sure how you draw the assumption that my tacos were delicious because of their impoverishedness, maybe they are simply authentic and taste better. Obviously, everything is cheaper there and more expensive here. I doubt any Mexicans will be eating at Minero though, nor will I again. P.S. Get a life!

Re: “¡Ask a Mexican! has a taco lesson for us all

On my most recent trip to southern Mexico, the tacos were small like Minero. Everyone eats 8-10 and puts only radishes on them (meat and radishes on the side). Correct about the quality but 10 tacos for $2 tastes better any day.

Re: “From humble ingredients to his love of Valentina hot sauce, Sean Brock gives an inside look at Minero

The torta is "a sloppy, multi-napkin-soaking concoction." Maybe they should give customers more than a small, thin napkin because the torta wasn't the only thing messy. Tortillas were relish as well as the queso fundido but was almost ruined by bad service. Not to mention steep drinks prices.

Re: “White Duck's hefty tacos are a battleground of competing flavors

Completely agree. Maybe I'm a taco purist, or maybe their food just isn't that good. My husband hated the interior, but it didn't bother me as much. The tacos just had too much going on, margarita was good though. Voodoo has been doing international tacos for years but I like theirs...
