@mat ... Thanks for the link to the original NFHA press release, but it still says nothing about the two ladies credit history / scores. If there is actual discrimination, I'll support going after the culprits 100% (likely a single employee), but as a person who doesn't discriminate based on race and realizes today's definition of discrimination is worlds different than what occurred in the 1960's, I still don't see any proof here.
What was the two ladies credit and credit history? That KEY factor in issuing a loan is glaringly missing in this article. I've know millionaires turned away for a relatively minor loan (or denied a credit card) because their credit was screwed up for some reason. More income, more down payment, and stronger job history means little, no matter what race if credit is bad. Just asking the obvious.
