Oh hey, it's Mr Negative again. Mat Catastrophe, I'm a fashion blogger in Charleston. I'm obligated to acknowledge when a brand of this magnitude and popularity comes to Charleston. It's common sense. Just because I don't care for their model, am I not allowed to say anything nice about them? I think their presence here will make Charleston an attractive location for other fashion brands that u would normally have to drive 3 hours to go to. I have zero tolerance for negativity. I don't mind someone disagreeing with me. We're all allowed to have an opinion. But neglecting to employ good common sense when throwing out opinions is just childish.
While I'm not a fan of "fast fashion" brands like H&M, there's clearly a market for it. They're serving the 18-25 crowd. It's not like that market would be shopping at the local higher end boutiques anyway. Most in the age bracket can't afford it. So they go to H&M, Forever 21, etc. they're not interested in a blazer that will last 20 years. They're only concern is looking cute for the party tonight. So direct the animosity elsewhere and be happy for Charleston.
