The off-ramp into downtown is going to be revamped with three lanes dedicated to left, straight and turning right (click the massive pdf in the article). But even then, the bottleneck is further up-stream traveling through the crosstown. A ton of people will use this as a quick method of getting from West Ashley into downtown as it is not a physically challenging bridge to cross.
I don't see how drivers can stand rush hour traffic in this city. It is a miserable experience and we should all be begging for alternative methods of transportation.
Bridge run, hurdle edition.
The city recently expanded their areas of street sweeping. We received no less than three paper notices and the city also put up signs along the street. I did not see this on the news, nor on Facebook. Building a couple additional bicycle parking areas is not sufficient notice.
