My skin is white. I state that just in case that is important to you. I am so happy that a young man made a video that captured what really happened to Mr. Scott. I am so sorry for the Scott family. He should not have died the way that he did and I am glad that the policeman that shot him is in jail. When a policeman stops someone, they should not fight or run away. I think that Mr. Scott would still be alive if he hadn't run away. By saying this, I am in NO WAY condoning the officer's actions. ALL lives matter both black and white and brown and red and yellow. If you are stopped by the police, do what the officer says!!!! PLEASE! I have thought about attending the service for Mr. Scott but I am too afraid to pay my respects because of all of the non residents creating danger. Give the judge, lawyers, sled, and the mayor a chance to do the right thing. They are trying. Bless the Scott family.
What an awful article! You may disagree with his politics but show a little respect for the deceased and his family. Mr. Altman was quite the passionate fighter for the things that he believed in. He lived in a very different era than you. I hope that your "news" reports let you sleep well at night. What a disgrace you are for the city paper!!! What a shame for our city. I am afraid to ask just how hateful you can be.
