i didnt like cork and i bet i wont like cannon, all these new places want to be south of broad but forget they are north of charleston. leave the attitude downtown. eclectic is cool but not when its fake.
yes its nice to see a pretty mall but that's not the real reason why people go to the mall - cause t looks nice, people go to the mall for the stores inside it.
if the mall is failing its because the stores inside it are not popular or there are too many of that chain store in Charleston/Summerville so they can go to any 1 of the other locations. like Tanger area - there were 2 Verizon's in a 1 mile area they cannot both be successful so 1 closed.
This city is too small to support 2 cookie cutter malls if they have the same stuff!
Make it unique-then they will come!
and YES an IKEA would be nice - I have traveled 3 hours to go there, but I don't need to go to West Ashley from N Charleston to go to Target
sumney- finish the park circle project/streetscapes and noisette crap first!
dang! focus dude!
