Was very dissapointed in our last visit to Hall's. Went on a Friday night with guests in town and had reservations through OpenTable. Show up at 7:30, and they have no tables available, even though they had called earlier that day to confirm out reservations. They seat us at the bar to wait on an available table. Its so loud and drunk people pushing into us, our quests are quite annoyed and ask if we should leave. The old hostess who works there, who is a Hall and part of the ownership, comes up to us every 5 minutes to apologize to us. Not to mention she has horribly bad breath as she has to get right in my face to talk as its so loud in there. We are seated about 20 minutes later. We end up spending easy $100 each on 4 people. Our two guests from Chicago were very unimpressed with the food and our experience there, I thought the food was just ok that night, but not nearly for what you pay when you leave. It wasn't my first time, but Hall's has worn thin on me from the first couple times we went there during the first year. Talking to friends it seems to be wearing thin on just about everyone. Lucky for us, plenty of exciting new restaurants to take Hall's place.
If its not personal toward African American Republicans, when you shopped these stories about Rep. Rivers to these media outlets did you bother to mention your candidates Marian Redish's ten times before a court regarding debt collections and foreclosures. So Rep. Rivers character is an issue being an African American Republican but Redish gets a pass because she is a Democrat. "It has everything to do with honesty and integrity", if so I expect you to disclose Marian Redish's court records as well, but that would take honesty and integrity wouldn't it?
So let me get this straight Tyler Jones is pushing these stories about an African American Republican to any media outlet who will listen (I know I have heard from others of his left emails and voicemails regarding Rep. Rivers). Meanwhile his candidate against Rivers has been taken to court 10, TEN, times for debt collections and foreclusures and we are suppose to disregard this and only care about a 20 year old misdemeanor assault and battery against Rivers. Tyler's integrity has taken a big hit here. Alot of whispers that Tyler is personally rascist toward African Americans who dont toe his party line. His behavior here is only reinforcing that view.
Agree, and who the hell would argue that Oklahoma City is a great place to move to, yet more people are moving there than Charleston.
Lol, I agree, this poll is pathetic. Charleston is great, but so many cities I would vote ahead of it. It might crack my top 50. Jaxx, do us a favor and look up population of US cities and metro areas and population growth before you act like you know what your talking about.
Why are people still bothering, the guy was already picked as head of CofC, its a done deal, move on to something else people.
