One of the worst experiences I've had at any restaurant downtown. Went on a Saturday while shopping on King St. with a party of 5, and 3 of us had problems with our entree's. The fish I had was burnt on the underside, while a friend of mine had chicken that tasted raw and flavorless. Just awful in every respect and the management did not seem to much care when he came to our table, thinking we were a bunch of tourists he'd never see again. Little does he know we are all local foodies with a wide network of friends. They do not have a good reputation with locals is evident after talking to people about this, its evident they are out to grab the tourist shoppers on King St., and could care less if they come back.

I'm all for it, its been a long time coming for the LGBT community in Charleston.
Who is this Tyler Jones douchebag, he just got his arse handed to him, he's all about honesty and integrity until he isn't apparently...
If the #1 city in the USA and #2 in the WORLD to travel to has nothing to do with how many people live there, something seems totally screwed up. It goes without saying if a place is voted #1 in the USA and #2 in the WORLD to visit, then droves of people would be moving there since its so desireable to be there. That is a very unintelligent statement Jaxx and proves the OP's point in what he is saying.
My thoughts exactly, went here not knowing what to expect and was very pleasantly surprised. The triggerfish was some of the best I've tried locally, and I've been just about to every restaurant downtown multiple times. Will be back and good luck to the owners!
Went here for the first time a few weeks ago, 4 stars out of 5, Mt. Pleasant needed a place like this.
