Re: “Carolina Film Alliance hopes to raise film rebates with legislation

You are an idiot. I am a filmmaker and the sheer amount of money put back into the local economy is great. Last year alone, North Carolina and Georgia had billions of dollars from film productions put back into the local economy. South Carolina is the crap sandwich between the two. Army Wives is the only thing thats semi sticking here but if we dont try and help out filmmaking here, we will lose that. South Carolina is rich with scenery and breathtaking views, we should let the whole world see it more. Take a brief look at any movie made here and you can see the money that is put back in. Trident Tech is one of the schools down here trying to help their students into film careers. Most of the students don't want to move away if they don't have to. If we had films come here more often then we can give them all chances to get into a field that is world renown. Stop by TTC and you all can see for yourselves that film is a great business and we need it.
