Call it a "joining" , a "union", or whatever you like. It is not a marriage. In as far as the government is concerned, what's truly fair about the tax codes? The various benefits afforded to some, etc.? Sorry, but it will never be a marriage. Now, seeing that my opinion differs, you may begin to call me names.

Little Bobby gets a girl pregnant, then his and her parents should be held accountable, just as a couple would go to divorce court. Little Laura transmits STD's to her girlfriend, same thing. When there are no consequences for the parents, then why should they even discuss sex ed with their child? I fail to understand why there should be widespread disagreement (LGBT, Christian, etc.) when the families are the one's who should "fully fund" the problems generated by their children.

I recall the Goose Creek Police Department using military satilite photographs to convict someone of filing a false police report. If you care to examine my facebook page, you will see photos of Charleston County Sheriff's detectives on the primises to intimidate me. The problem originated when I filed a police report on one of their buddies (unknown to me at the time). I've been threatened with semiautomatic gunfire outside my house at night in an attempt to keep me quite about the matter. They can't argue with the facts, so they lie or intimidate, but they can't charge me with filing a false police report. I could get a lawyer, but if you read the law carefully you will realize that there's not much you can do about such things unless your pockets are very deep. Now, put that on a national scale... Homeland Security is begining to target "individual right wing extremist". It could be someone as inocent as a person who disagrees with an administration's certain policy. Believe me, it's already happening.

"modern slavery"? I doubt there has been any forcement into servitude. Now, you didn't pass GO and you didn't draw a Get Out of Jail card, so remember that life can be unfair.
