Wrong. He was a witness to a crime that's being covered up and mishandled by local authorities. If the whole story isn't being represented by other media outlets, then much like your report it's due to sloppy and incomplete investigative journalism. This video gives an eye-witness account, even dropping the accused names and revealing a location of the crime, and local police have released conflicting reports about it (one officer says they've had the video for months, one saying they just got it). I suggest you actually look into the growing case of corruption that surrounds this case, and the actual evidence contained in this video before just brushing this off as another viral phenomenon. Next you'll be telling your readers, which I don't feel you deserve, that people giving eyewitness accounts of the atrocities in Syria isn't newsworthy.
