Every time there's a mass/public shooting in Duhmerica the 2nd Amendment blowhards want to arm those innocent bystanders directly affected to prevent further incidents. I'm surprised a group or politician hasn't suggested that all school children should carry weapons! When will the arming of this country stop? Enough with the gun and violence culture. Drastic changes are needed.
As for teachers carrying guns, I fucking shudder thinking back to my grade school teachers being allowed to. What would I be more afraid of, a 1 in 1 million chance of a mass shooting or my drunk Spanish teacher with a gun in her drawer or the effeminate drama teacher packing heat or the pissed-off, alpha male gym teacher with access to weapons? Wasn't there a shit storm a few years back when Goose Creek POLICE entered Stratford High with guns drawn to investigate drug dealing? Now you expect parents to be OK with guns in the school?

Quick, name another country with strict gun-control policies that has had multiple mass shootings at public schools (or movie theaters or house fires or restaurants)! Allowing ownership of an instrument of death gives a civilian the ability to injure or kill based on self-protection, drunkenness, rage, jealousy, insanity, insecurity, entertainment, or whatever. Which one is your armed neighbor going to succumb to?
