Absolutely horrible debacle. I was stuck in traffic for almost two hours yesterday and have no sympathy for the police or the fake jumper. This guy should have jumped or been arrested. Afterword, the police were standing around talking about it while drivers were backed up for miles and miles. The police had given us no warning signs in advance of the bridge even though this started four hours earlier. There was no attempt to get traffic moving. No police at intersections where it was a free for all leading up to the bridge. Traffic lights were switching so fast on 17, letting people in from the side streets forever, while only allowing a few cars across on 17. The response to major traffic situations in Charleston is not managed well. There seems to be no direction from above or sense of urgency.

Nice people. Wrong location. Shouldn't Pho be served with a side dish of lime, cilantro, and bean sprouts? Good luck. The demographic just isn't there. They need to be closer to downtown or in a shopping center.
