Yeah I was at that beer festival last year and was thinking the same thing when I left. Too many people for that place and there was no food to go with the beer. I think I ended up having a salad. Good luck to Brannon! He's always made great food and I look forward to the new place!
The website is actually working much better than at the time of the Oct. 1st roll-out. I have an account and working my way to see what plans I can choose from. I understand that it's far from a perfect law, but that's what happens when one side of the aisle doesn't even try to work with the executive office. Instead, they just try to make political hay by obstruction, yelling, screaming, and whining to repeal it. By the way, the Republicans have also blocked every piece of legislation (including multiple jobs bills) since gaining the majority in the HOR in 2010. Can't fix any legislation if the people in power have other intentions and agendas. Put people before politics.
Well said Chris. I voted Sheheen in 2010. Will do anything but vote for Haley in 2014. But I doubt enough people in South Carolina will be smart enough to do the same. Oh well. Moving out of state anyways.
Eugene you give Cruz too much credit for comparing him to Walter White's lawyer.
Thanks Mat for another great article. Unfortunately in this part of the southeast, not many people will find your points and opinions as insightful. I wish you were preaching to the choir, but down here, the choir is too deaf and stupid to realize the truth. Here's to hoping that Haley goes down with the Tea Party ship in this year and the next. In the words of Susan Powter, "Stop the insanity!!". Cheers!!
