Re: “I-526 could be Riley's biggest mistake

The people that are against this completion are complete and total idiots! If you want to curve development on Johns Island then do it by zoning like every city and county does. And James Island residents, don't even get me started on them they are either involutes and shut in's not to see the traffic problems that plague our area on a DAILY BASIS! Complete this project that was voted FOR in the nineteen seventies or our quality of life will start to suffer from these already overcrowded streets.

Re: “The Case Against Riley & I-526

I totally disagree with this article. First of all the foul language from Stephanie Barna is that of a drunken sailor, and it comes off as exactly that through this editorial? Second of all there will be more than trees and pretty landscaping what it will mean for me is a muchhhh shorter commute in an already log jammed traffic that is HWY 17, that I have to make it to Lockwood in the first place. If Stephanie "Blackbeard" Berna, was not so wrapped up in fearmongering and trying to stop a progression of Charleston that has been and will continue to be coming this way irregardless of what any fool who would want to stop it. This project is needed for this area and James and Johns Island, from where I start my 46 minute commute, is needing this project and I support Mayor Riley and all that he is doing for the citizens of Charleston.
