The racism and classicm in the blog is rampant---not to mention the blatant assumptions and ignorance put forth in it.
While many here are saying its such a good thing to have this and are hardly questioning the author's motivations (not to mention accuracy of information---whether intentional or not) the dangers should also be obvious to any half-educated person here---assumptions are not facts and unsourced "facts" are of course not to be taken as such. Sure, there are pictures, messages, screen shots of profiles, court records etc----but the potential to deliberately slander is of course very high and the fact that the police and courts are actually considering using this as tool is VERY disturbing given the authenticity is questionable...not to mention presumptions and racism which are profuse in it.
Plopping this thing there is simply irresponsible of the school and the BAR. Comparing it to a Charleston single is plain idiocy. I wonder just what schools are now teaching architecture students in regards to preservation, harmony and considering the effects of their designs on the surrounding area; this clashes with the surrounding area so much and the size of the structure is out of proportion as well. It will ruin the character of the neighborhood. Also, I do not think this building will age very well: How will it look in 15, 30, 50 years? Not very pretty after the architectural concrete, steel and glass "matures" (weathers and ages).
