This article is great as far as what a failed, misguided ideology neo-conservatism is. However, any definition of neo-conservatism which fails to mention Israel can only be a half-truth at most.
Contemporary neo-conservatism is not about "making the world safe for democracy", it's about making the world, the Middle East in particular, safe for Israel. Until journalists find the courage to write openly about this israelist agenda, the American people will have a distorted understanding of why their government pursues such a dangerous and self-destructive foreign policy.
