You don't even know (or try to find out) who the talented group is that collaborated with the CVB to produce the spot. You merely refer to them as "black lady" and "black hands." But I guess that would require a bit too much journalistic effort on your part.
There was no "targeting" of anyone with this video. The video is simply a celebration of all the amazing little details that locals and visitors experience every day.
These details - not the racial makeup of the people in the video, our restaurants, our golf courses, our waterways, or our attractions - are what keep visitors coming back and voting us the best city in the nation.
Your knee-jerk reaction and failure to even research how the spot was made dampens what should be a proud moment for all our community regardless of color. I guess you're happy with all the comments and a few extra pageviews though. That's what matters now, right?
