"Will they have Coors Light? Damn Rarebit doesn't carry it. It's not like the Bandit has to haul it back from Golden."
The bandit didnt go to Golden, he went to Texarkana.
So there was a panic show and people drank, smoked, and peed in the bushes. In other news water is wet and McDonalds sells hamburgers. This is news? Seriously?
The biggest problem I have with the whole project is it's path through JI County Park. I realize (as someone mentioned above) that it only goes through the edge of the park and doesn't directly hit many of the parks big attractions, but that's not really the point. The raised road would be visible from all over the park. The noise of cars and 18-wheelers speeding by over your head would kill the peaceful feeling of the place. Many of you talk about the how something that benefits many is more important than a few people's houses. Fine, but the JICP is used by thousands and thousands of people throughout the year for a multitude of activities. It is the crown jewel of the entire Charleston County Park and Rec Commission. My point is, by ruining the park with this project you are negatively impacting many many more people than just those who live in the path of the road. Is there not a way to bend the road further from the park?
Looks great. Walking distance to the beer exchange too so I can park and hit both places. Only question, what if I feel like drinking an IPA and then maybe a stout? Do I have to change bars between beers?
I was always curious about Read Bros but never stopped by because from the outside it looks to be out of business. Good to know, needs to spruce up the exterior a bit though. He's losing business.
